I remember talking about Hank when we visited. Much like humans when dogs are exposed to trauma, especially at an early age, no breeding in the world can exempt them to the emotion they feel. He has a trauma response etched on his big heart that only is quelled with honest, calm, deliberate love. Thanks for taking him back.
