We are allowing our young show prospects the time they need to mature before making final decisions. Structure, temperament, development, and each dog's happiness all help guide that process.

Occasionally, a wonderful puppy or young adult becomes available to just the right family. These are not simply dogs needing homes—they are Labradors we know, love, and want to see treasured for a lifetime.

We do not currently have any puppies, older puppies, or adults confirmed available for placement. We are, however, evaluating several young Labradors as potential show prospects.
As they mature, a dog who is not retained for our show or breeding program may become available to a carefully selected family companion home.
Family-companion placement pricing is generally $5,000 and up, depending on age and level of training.

Any Labrador offered for placement will be current on appropriate health care and age-appropriate vaccinations. Before placement, we will share that dog's individual records, personality, routines, and training experience with the approved family.

Our Older Puppy & Adult Dog Policy
We want every family—and every dog—to be genuinely happy with the match.
A Thoughtful Placement
These Labradors are placed as companions under our older puppy and adult dog placement policy. We take time to learn about your home, schedule, children, other pets, experience, and expectations before recommending a match.
We strongly prefer that prospective families visit, meet the dog, and spend meaningful time together. There is never pressure to move forward if the match does not feel right.
The Fairfax Pines Promise
We want both the dog and the family to thrive. Sometimes, despite everyone's best intentions, a placement simply is not the right fit.
If that happens during the agreed adjustment period, we want our dog returned to Fairfax Pines. For qualifying placements, the placement fee will be refunded according to the written placement agreement.
Our priority is never merely completing a placement—it is protecting the lifelong well-being of every dog who carries the Fairfax Pines name.
