Waiting List & Process/Policy

For those who are truly interested in bringing one of our wonderful puppies into their home, we offer a waiting list. As lots of details are out of our control and in the hands of Mother Nature the best we can do is plan litters and cannot guarantee a litter’s arrival.
Regrettably, predicting the exact size of a litter remains uncertain. Despite our frequent use of ultrasounds/x-rays to monitor the process, there are instances where you may not see all puppies on ultrasound or x-ray, or unforeseen complications arise during birth. Consequently, there may be moments when families have to patiently await the arrival of the next litter. However, this potential delay has never posed a problem, as those on the waiting list are drawn to our dogs not for the quantity of puppies, but for the exceptional quality they offer. It's a testament to the lasting impact our Fairfax Pines dogs have on their future owners, ensuring that the anticipation of welcoming a new addition to the family is always worth the wait.
Do not let the length of our wait list be intimidating, we do not shut down our waiting list and it is rather fluid. All we can do is promise to contact you when your name comes up on the list and a puppy is available. The best way to keep up with our prospective litters is our website or by, “liking” and “following” our Facebook & Instagram pages. We try to do our best to make sure that each family on the waiting list gets the puppy they are hoping for while maintaining the quality and care of our puppies and dogs. In turn, sometimes, it may require some patience.
1.) Once pregnancy is confirmed, we will contact all people on our deposits waiting list. We ask that you keep an eye on our website, as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages for current most up to date information.
2.) Everyone on our waiting list will have 1 week to let us know if they would like to commit deposit to the list, for the female confirmed pregnant.
3.) After that week, I will make up the waiting list, for that female, putting the deposits in order by the date they were received…
When you decide to secure a puppy by making a deposit and the long-awaited litter finally arrives, only to find that the specific color or gender you had your heart set on is not available. that is an unfortunate situation. If this scenario unfolds and you find yourself unable or simply no longer wishing to proceed with the reservation, it's important to note that the impact on your initial deposit date will be significant. In such instances, your original deposit date will unfortunately lapse, and your new deposit date will be reset to coincide with the birth date of the litter. Planning for the future is crucial in such cases, as it ensures that all parties involved are aware of the changes and can adjust their expectations accordingly.
If the color/sex of the puppy you want is not born then you will not lose your deposit date and you will be put back on the waiting list with your original deposit date.
4.) Once the litter arrives, I will send out an update to the people on the waiting list for that litter, letting you know how many puppies are born and how many of each sex and color are born…. Again, we ask that you keep an eye on our website, as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages for current most up to date information.
5.) If for any reason you decide you will not be moving forward with a puppy from the litter, you can choose to transfer your deposit to a future litter. Please note this is often the bottom of the list as usually most upcoming litters will already have deposits already and those previous deposits have priority.
Please Note: We provide those on our wait list with our best estimate of when we will have a puppy for them, however, please understand that many factors can change this estimate including whether a breeding takes and overall litter sizes. There are no guarantees that a particular future litter will happen as there are a lot of variables and sometimes a litter or pups are lost. Also, I can’t predict how quickly you will move up on the list as the girls don’t let me in on how many pups they are going have. This is a general waiting list which is worked in the order the applications/deposits were received.
Breeding pairings are subjected to change at any time without notice.
