Waiting List & Process/Policy
For families hoping to welcome a Fairfax Pines puppy into their home, we are honored to offer a waiting list.
Each litter is thoughtfully planned with great care, intention, and devotion to the Labrador breed. At the same time, breeding is never entirely predictable. Much remains in Mother Nature’s hands, and for that reason, we cannot guarantee the timing of a litter, the number of puppies born, or the exact colors and sexes that may be available.
While waiting can feel uncertain, it is also part of the journey. Our families are drawn not simply by availability, but by the quality, temperament, and lifelong value of a Fairfax Pines Labrador. We believe deeply that the right puppy, in the right time, is always worth waiting for.
Our waiting list is often more fluid than it may appear, and we do not close it. As puppies become available, we reach out to families in turn. We also encourage you to stay connected through our website, Facebook, and Instagram, where we share the most current updates on planned and confirmed litters.
Above all, our priority is to thoughtfully place each puppy in the home that is meant for them, while preserving the quality, care, and integrity behind every Fairfax Pines litter.
The ProcessOnce a pregnancy is confirmed, families on our deposit list are contacted and invited to reserve from that litter. We kindly ask for a response within 48 hours so we may plan accordingly.
When puppies arrive, we share an update with families waiting on that litter, including the number of puppies born and the available sexes and colors.
If the color or sex you were hoping for is not represented in that litter, your original place on the waiting list is preserved.
If you choose to pass on a litter for personal reasons, your deposit may be moved to a future litter. Because many upcoming litters already have families waiting, placement in a future litter will depend on existing reservations and availability.
A Gentle Note - Any timeframe we may offer is always our best estimate, never a promise. Timing can shift depending on whether a breeding takes, litter size, and circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Occasionally, planned litters may change or not come to fruition at all.
Our waiting list is maintained in the order applications and deposits are received, and every family is treated with fairness, honesty, and care. Breeding pairings may occasionally change as we make the decisions we feel are best for our dogs, our program, and the future of the breed.
