What is the price of your puppies?

- Litters can ranges from 1-13 puppies, our litters are generally in the 8-9 puppy range, its mother nature and there are lots of factors involved.
- We have a very good idea about the colors as we genetic test for the colors produced, however again mother nature comes into play we can never say "we will have 4 yellows and 7 black puppies". we can with confidence tell you if we breed specific dogs that carry a specific gene "Gypsy and Thor will produce all chocolate puppies.
- We can never predict how many females or males, again its mother nature.
- We do extensive health testing, hips, elbows and EIC "Exercise Induced Coma", PRA "Progressive Retinal Atrophy" - these diseases as well as a few others are prevalent in the breed, the testing is costly and was want to make sure we produce the healthiest puppies possible.
- Our stud dogs have extremely good bloodlines, many champions and a healthy, high quality lineage is very important in producing beautiful, healthy dogs that will be part of your family for years to come!
- Yes, and we also will take back any puppy/dog we produce if something happens in their family, (death, divorce or maybe you want to become an astronaut and there is a no dog policy on Mars lol) This is to ensure that none of our puppies ever have to be placed in a shelter.
- The dates on our website are "estimates" we never know exactly when a female will come in or be "fertile" We have an idea and we again project dates that are in the range that we expect conception may have occurred. Once a female has had her special date night with our males it takes 50-64 days for the puppies to enter the big wide world! Once they are born they stay with us for 8 weeks.
- Yes, puppies will have their first puppy shots, a full vet check, and are wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 7 weeks old. You will need to schedule an apt. with your vet within the first 3 days of having puppy home to continue on with additional vaccinations and puppy care. Puppies will need to be wormed repeatedly through adolescence.
- Yes, and in fact we encourage it! If you contact another breeder and they say no... there is cause for concern.
- There is little difference between male and female puppies at eight weeks old. On average, male puppies are slightly larger than their sisters. But that’s about it. However, puppies don’t stay puppies for long. They grow up fast and it really is the difference between male and female dogs once they reach maturity, that you need to consider.
- The difference in size is probably not enough to matter much to anyone, but males are a little larger than females. But males also have a different ‘look’. They look, unsurprisingly, more masculine. Often with larger, chunkier, heads. This difference is greater in some breeds than others, and will be far less pronounced in a male dog that has been neutered at an early age. If you prefer the distinctive male look of your breed then this might be an influencing factor for you. Both when choosing a puppy, and when making decisions about neutering.
- You may hear it said that girl dogs are more loyal than boys. This myth has persisted from the days when many dogs were left to wander at will, unsupervised in the community where they lived. The truth is both boys and girls are just as loyal and friendly if properly socialized.
- There is no difference in our dogs, based on color. Every dog is an individual and although you might love one particular color to look at, do think carefully about your priorities when it comes to picking a puppy. A great dog is never a bad color. What matters most is the temperaments and health of the parents.
- No, we can't control where your dog has been and the health and safety of our dogs is a constant concern. For our dogs well being we do not allow outside dogs on our property.
