All of our Fairfax Pines puppies are born inside our home, in our cozy sun room located off of the living room.  This room also has a nap swing which, trust me I use lots while puppies are being born and for the following 2 weeks!  This room is a warm and relaxing hewn log room, that when we don't have puppies, is our favorite spot to drift into an afternoon nap.. Puppies stay in the home until about the 2 week mark then they go to our Puppy Nursery Building.  Our Puppy Nursery Building is ONLY for puppies and nursing mommas, there are no other dogs kept there... we want our mothers to feel safe and secure without distraction or feeling overwhelmed by other dogs roaming or barking etc.

The Nursery building is climate controlled with an independent heating system radiant floor heating, keeping the building exactly the temperature that we set on the thermostat... no heat lamps or dangerous electric/kerosene heaters .. we have vinyl composite puppy quarters that are easy to clean and sanitize (no cold chain link to snag collars or cause kennel phobia, the Nursery also has hot and cold water... and a gorgeous views out of the many light filled windows. The nursery also has an outdoor play area for pool fun in the summer and a ball pit and slide for enjoyable and interactive play fun for puppies! In summer months puppies have their own puppy pool to get supervised water experience!!
