big! 64 oz.As many have visited while choosing their puppy, many families have also visited our local brewery the Screech Owl. We thought it would be a special touch to create a beautiful handcrafted growler for families to purchase to have a beautiful art piece and momento to make the experience a little more memorable <3 and a little brew may be needed for the first couple nights of puppy ownership :) LOL!
They are big! 64 oz. we do not fill them, so you can take the growlers to your local brewery of your choosing... we offer you puppy paw print to be stamped on the bottom, or if you already have a puppy from us we can put your puppies "Daddy's" print on the bottom... it kind of inspired me from one of the IPA beers the Screech Owl has that is named "Hoo's your Daddy" lol
Growlers are priced at 100.00 they can be paid for by:

Things you should know...
Your new Growler is a one of a kind work of art, that happens to be a really cool way to transport your favorite brew. It is made by hand out of a very durable ceramic called Stoneware. Stoneware is a very strong material that is fired in a kiln to over 2200 degrees F. It will keep your brew safe, and COLD, and won't let in any light at all! Some people say their beer keeps that "fresh feeling" in the fridge for 2 weeks or more! However, keep in mind that Growlers are designed as a temporary storage vessel. Don't rely on it for long term storage.
Q. How do I clean it?
A. Even though Stoneware is dishwasher safe, we suggest hand washing since the opening is small. Give it a good soapy wash and rinse and let it dry thoroughly upside down and open. Be sure to thoroughly clean the inside of the Growler, the underside of the Lid, and the Seal after each use.
Q. What about the lid?
A. The lid and seal should be left open when the growler isn't in use unless it is completely dry inside. Thoroughly hand wash the lid and seal the same as the growler. Pay attention to how the wires get assembled. They can be a challenge to figure out if you don't pay close attention the first time.
Q. Will the seal wear out?
A. Eventually, but they are designed to last a very long time. The seal is made out of top quality FDA Grade Neoprene rubber. It could get permanently compressed over time. If your Growler ever leaks or skunks your beer early, simply replace the seal. It's a good idea to keep a few extra seals on hand. You can order extras from our showroom store.
Q. Can I get extra lids, too?
A. We can replace your lid if it gets broken or lost. Call us for this service.
Q. Are all of your Growlers 64 ounces?
A. Yes, but please keep in mind that the 64 ounce designation is just an average volume. Each growler is hand made, so the actual volume it holds might be a few ounces more or less. Some variation should be expected.
Q. Why are stoneware growlers so expensive, when I can get glass for a fraction of the price?
A. We get this question a lot... Each Stoneware Growler that we create is hand made by very talented artisans. Between 3 and 4 hours of love goes into each and every Growler which makes them unique works of art! Glass is mass-produced, usually overseas, so they are inexpensive. But, if you want to stand out from the crowd, make a unique statement like the individual that you are, and be proud that these are made in the USA, then these Growlers are for you!
