Fairfax Pines Savory Bites

Beef and venison are rich, natural proteins that fuel dogs with strength, stamina, and vitality. Unprocessed and wholesome, they provide essential amino acids to build lean muscle, support healthy organs, and keep energy levels steady. Venison offers a lean, novel protein that’s gentle on sensitive stomachs, while beef delivers nutrient-dense iron, zinc, and B vitamins for overall wellness. Together, these proteins nourish the body in its most natural form—pure, hearty, and instinctively satisfying. 🥩✨🐾
A nutrient-dense, freezer-friendly treat designed to support fertility, stamina, and recovery in breeding dogs—but also great for any adult dog needing a boost.
Ingredients (base recipe)
  • 3 lbs lean ground beef (or 3-meat mix: beef, turkey, venison)
  • 1 dozen eggs (with shells finely ground if possible, for calcium)
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds (ground; rich in zinc for fertility)
  • 1 cup wheat germ (vitamin E & folic acid support)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (probiotics, calcium, and protein)
  • ½ cup molasses (iron-rich energy source)
  • ½ cup coconut oil (healthy fats & coat support)
  • ½ cup flaxseed (omega-3s for fertility & inflammation support)
Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl until fully combined.
  2. Roll into meatball-sized portions (ping-pong to golf ball size works well).
  3. Place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. Cool completely before feeding.
  6. Store: Refrigerate up to 5 days, or freeze in zip bags/containers for up to 3 months.

Feeding Guidelines
  • Studs & dams: 1–3 meatballs daily during breeding or pregnancy.
  • Active adults: 1-2 meatball as an energy boost or wellness treat.
  • Always introduce gradually and adjust amounts based on dog size & activity level.
